I'm not sure exactly when this prophesy was originally spoken, but it's sobering to see the deep sea well in the Gulf of Mexico opening a major vent for oceanic water to mix with the 400 degree temperatures deep under the crust. The pressurization under the Gulf floor and a subsequent massive explosion, followed by a drop in the floor, creating a massive tsunami and possible seismic activity all the way up the Mississippi basin, cracking the Continental USA in half, then draining the Great Lakes, has all been prognosticated by more than one geologist and oceanographer.

I don't find the insistence by the Petro-spokesmen and government officials that "it'll all be okay, we just need to clean it up" comforting at all. It has the tone of whistling past the grave yard to me.

In short, this prophesy, due to recent events, has become more than a warning of things to come. It's more like reporting a clear and present danger. Obviously, it's time to get serious.
