Recordings from the Gnostic Retreat in Colorado.

The international Gnostic community came together for six days of spiritual practice at Sophia Peace Center in Colorado, USA, from Monday, August 2 to Saturday, August 7, 2010. Participants focused on intensive spiritual practice, whose goal is personal experience of Gnosis. Gnosis is Greek for “conscious, experiential knowledge.” The ancient science of Gnosis is a precise utilization of the consciousness, directed towards self-knowledge and the emergence of serenity and happiness. The International Gnostic Retreats focus on practical techniques for acquiring conscious knowledge within.

Retreat participants learned about:

• Creative Sound: Vocalization of Mantras
• Harmonizing the Body: Runic and Tibetan Exercises
• Inner Vision: Imagination and Clairvoyance

As with all of our previous events, the 2010 Gnostic Retreat welcomed anyone who is interested in learning about Gnosis, regardless of their race, gender, background, religious or political affiliations, or any other factor. This retreat brought together students from countries all over the world, from every conceivable religion and belief, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and harmony.
